Oily Skin
Oily: If you have a shiny appearance with large pores, you may have oily skin. People with oily skin have a hard time with acne because their skin overproduces oil that makes it more prone to clogged pores. The good news? People with oily skin are less likely to develop wrinkles as early as people with other skin types. Proper cleansing twice a day is important. Sometimes lifestyle habits can cause adult acne or make it worse. It's best not to leave oil or dirt on your face, so cleansing at least twice a day is important, sometimes more if you engage in physical activity or have excessively oily skin. Some other tips:

Avoid resting your hands or other objects, such as a telephone receiver, on your face. Doing so can leave unwanted dirt and oil behind.
Avoid irritants, such as oily cosmetics, sunscreens, and hair-styling products.
Avoid picking or squeezing at pimples. This can lead to infection or scarring.
