Our Ethical Product

Vegan
All of our products are 100% vegan and manufactured on site fresh daily from our hands to yours.  We never use any ingredients that contain or sourced from animals or insects such as honey, lanolin, carmine, ect.

Not everyone who works at GBT (Gourmet Body Treats) is a vegan, but a love of animals is a standard in our offices, and we participate in many local charities for pets.

100% Natural & Non Toxic
We never use parabens, plastics, or any man made ingredient (except essential oils, which must be made from organic plant matter). Also we always use naturally derived food grade preservatives. Further more all of our ingredients are sourced in our local area when ever possible, and are organic. What ingredients we use from other countries is rigorously  tested for 3 things.

  • Quality
  • Fair Trade Compliance
  • Cruelty Free

Recylable Containers

In an effort to protect our environment we package our products in glass or recyclable plastic containers whenever possible and constantly try to find better more ecologically friendly containers. We encourage our customers to send old containers back to us for re-use or recycling.

Cruelty Free

We NEVER  test our products on animals and insure that all of our raw ingredients have never been tested on animals either.  We test for quality in our products on humans (which is a highly prize job here at our labs) We test for safety on willing volunteers, who are handsomely compensated for their aid in furthering science!

No Nano
We NEVER use any nano sized particles in any of our products.

Why is that?

Researchers in Finland and the US studied how certain nanoparticles interact with cells. Results indicated that nanoparticles may alter cell structure, causing the cells to die. Currently, nanoparticles are widely used in cosmetics, electronics, optical devices, medicine, and in food packaging materials. Nanoparticles may well be the asbestos of the twenty first century: a considerable threat to people`s health.
